SFN installation for Thessaloniki DVB-T transmission

The Thessaloniki DVB-T project is based on ΚΥΑ4280/2012 for two Single freq transmision TV center at Hortiatis and Fillipio Mountains

The two DVB-T transmitters 1200W and 250W power ware lined together via a Ceragon Ip Datalink. The technology provided by Ceragon could easily deliver 50Mbps with low latency of 300ms, ideal for SFN transmission.

The broadcasted DVB-T from both mountains signal covers the entire area of the city of Thessaloniki for 6 TV stations (Nickelodeon+, Europe One, Egnatia TV, Dion TV, Extra TV, Vergina TV).
