The submission of proposals for the implementation of research projects in the form of partnerships for the "Research Excellence Partnerships" project (with code OPS TA 5180519) continues until April 5, 2024 in the context of the Reform: "Promotion of quality, innovation and extroversion in universities" (Action Code: 16289) of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan "Greece 2.0" with funding from the European Union-NextGenerationEU.

The potential beneficiaries invited to submit proposals in the form of a partnership are:

a) Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) and

b) Businesses.

The project is aimed at partnerships between A.E.I. and private companies and aims to support the creation of research group consortia aimed at the development of innovative, internationally competitive products and R&D services, with an emphasis on cutting-edge technology areas. The Public Expenditure budget of the "Research Excellence Partnerships" call amounts to 90.6 million euros (88.2 million euros through the Recovery and Resilience Fund for the period 2022-2025 RRF budget and National PDE-VAT Contribution 2, 4 million euros) and the Private Participation in 37.8 million euros.

The total budget of the Invitation amounts to 128.4 million euros. The maximum budget per proposal-project may not exceed the amount of 1,800,000.00 euros for the total duration of the project, including private participation. The duration of the implementation of the submitted proposals is set at twenty-four (24) months and in no case may it exceed 31/12/2025. The project is designed to incentivize dynamic university researchers to implement innovative research projects in collaboration with private sector companies, in order to stimulate the creation of know-how and facilitate its transfer to the real economy and for this reason it concerns collaborative grants Research & Development projects.

The start date for the electronic submission of funding applications to the State Aid Information System (PSKE) (www.ependyseis.gr/mis) is 16/2/2024 at 3:00 p.m. with a closing date of 5/4/2024 at 4:00 p.m. SPECTRAtech SA undertakes the full process of evaluating interest and submitting a grant request.
