Transition to innovative, outward-looking and smart specialisation in the Region of Central Macedonia
Applications for the funding programme "Transition to innovative, outward-looking and smart specialisation in the Region of Central Macedonia" are still open until 22/05.
The funding program aims to strengthen the activities of the priority sectors of the National Strategy for Smart Specialization, as they are specified for each Region (Regional Completions), through the support of existing, micro, small and medium enterprises of the Region of Central Macedonia, for the development and diffusion of new technologies, their technological transformation, scale up, extroversion (emphasis on both global value chains - GVC, and the promotion of products of high technological value) and the promotion of the dual transition, i.e. digital transformation and the circular economy.
Each investment project, in order to be eligible, must be documented to be linked to a Regional Outcome of the priority sectors of the National Strategy for Smart Specialisation (S3) and the expenditure included in it must serve the following areas of intervention of each outcome (this condition is a basic requirement for the inclusion of an operation in the Action, therefore, a detailed and realistic documentation of the link between the investment project and the proposed expenditure and the areas of intervention is required when submitting the application for funding).

The investment project should be linked to a Regional Outcome of the priority sectors of the National Strategy for Smart Specialisation (S3).
Submission period
from 22/1/2024 to 22/5/2024
The application for funding must be submitted electronically via the Integrated State Aid Management Information System (ISMS) https://app.opske.gr/ using the standardised Funding Application Form (indicative e-submission form in Annex I) and accompanied by all the necessary supporting documents as provided for in ANNEX II 'Supporting documents for submission/inclusion'.
Applications for funding in which not all the mandatory fields of the OPSKE have been completed will not be able to be submitted and will not be able to proceed to the next stage.

What is financed
The subsidised budget of each investment project ranges from 60.000€ to 400.000€.
The public expenditure for all investment projects amounts to 45% of the subsidised budget, while the remaining amount is covered by private participation.
