The VCL-EX0877 is the 0.8 times wide conversion lens for the PMW-EX1 and PMW-EX1R. With the VCL-EX0877 mounted to the PMW-EX1 / EX1R the focal length becomes 25.1mm to 351mm (31.4mm to 439mm in 35mm equivalent). The PMW-EX1 / EX1R has an optical specification compensator function. By changing Wide Conversion in Camera Set menu On manually, chromatic aberration compensation and the image stabilizer mode is optimized for the VCL-EX0877.
