The Datavideo HRS-30 is an all-in-one portable recorder with a built in 10.1″ monitor that is integrated into a rugged hand-carry case. It can be used as a field recorder, playback system and confidence monitor. The HRS-30 inputs include HD/SD-SDI and supports 1080i, 720p, 576i, 480i video formats. It records in MPEG-II Long-GOP or intra-frame (i-frame) with 4:2:2 color sampling. The recorded MXF/OP1A or MOV file format is compatible with a wide range of NLE and play out systems. Recorded files are stored to a removable caddy, which is compatible with 2.5″ solid state drives. The built in broadcast monitor is an ideal solution for reviewing (mark in) or playing back video during a production. Other features include time code input/loop thru, skip forward or back button (8 seconds), slow motion playback, and a skip clip button.
The portability and ruggedness of the HRS-30 makes it ideal for any field production application. The HRS-30 V-mount and Anton Bauer support will allow remote recording without A/C power. RS-232 control (via Ethernet) provides additional options for distance control of your recording. Applications for HRS-30 include sporting events, school productions, concerts or any event outside a traditional studio. The HRS-30 is a perfect companion to Datavideo’s HS-2200 hand-carry switcher.
