Development of an innovative, intelligent system with a digital optical CCD sensor for optimum exploitation of natural lighting and energy saving

SPECTRAtech was commissioned by the National Technical Unversity of Athens to supply it with optical CC sensors under the act of: THALES NTUA - Development of an innovative, intelligent system with a digital optical CCD sensor for optimus exploitation of natural lighting and energy saving.

The system consists of a very high-resolution CCD camera, namely Allied Vision Prosilica GE4000C, with a class 2 CCD sensor, frame rate of 5 fps at 4008x2672 and 12 bit ADC resolution, coupled with six CCD cameras, Allied Vision Prosilica GC1290C, characterised by their 1280x960 resolution and maximum frame rate of 32 fps.

Both cameras provide Region of Interest (ROI) readouts in order to be able to meet the high performance requirements their specialised, scientific use dictates and are accompanied by the appropriate operation software, SKDs and APIs that are compatible with most Operating Systems, as well as libraries that allow full sunergy with Matlab and Simulink offering a wide range of options for the experimental model created.
