TEGEA - Special Research Funds Account of the International University of Greece
SPECTRAtech SA cooperates with the Special Research Funds Account of the International University of Greece by providing specialized equipment for the development of an integrated (in the sense of integration of many skills) innovative technology named "Technology of Skilled Vineyard Agriculture (TEGEA)" for optimal cooperation of a team of wheeled robots equipped with sensors electronic instruments as well as with arms to which appropriate tools are attached. The (ground) team of robots will be provided with navigation maps from aerial multicopters.
The purpose is the massive automation of selected viticultural operations with the long-term goal of minimizing the human presence in the vineyard during the production process.
